Our Work Policy
A gunsmith, by definition, is one who builds or repairs guns. However, gunsmithing work and the manufacture of firearms today is much different from the way it was 200 years ago, or even 100 years ago. Bose’s Guns is dedicated to finding the most up to date techniques to repair your firearms.
Bose’s Guns will give you the best possible service for the money. We believe that the best service includes low prices, variety, exceptional customer service, and above all quality and craftsmanship. We pride ourselves on these attributes and promise to continually work to deliver the best gunsmithing service to our customers.
Please fill out the above form to request an estimate and we will get back in touch with you.
When shipping your firearm write us a note with clear instructions of work to be done. Include your full address and a phone number.
Customers should expect to hear from Bose’s Guns within one week of arrival for repair on the options the customer will have on the services to be completed. The completion date will also be given at this time.
We work on a first come first serve basis.
Appointments cannot be held without the firearm here.
No work will be done by Bose’s Guns without approval by the customer. Upon approval, the customer will be asked to secure the work with a credit card.
Bose’s Guns will notify the customer by phone when the firearm is completed. Payment is due within 30 days of this notice. If payment is not received in full after the 30-day notice, Bose’s Guns will notify the customer by certified mail that the balance is still outstanding. Failure to pay the invoice in full within 15 days of the receipt of the certified letter will result in the gun becoming the property of Bose’s Guns. Bose’s guns have the right to sell the completed firearm/parts to satisfy the outstanding invoice balance.
How do I mail you my firearm for an estimate? All handguns and handgun frames coming in and going out of Nebraska must be shipped from an FFL. Long guns may be shipped by an individual directly to Bose’s Guns. Firearms shipped directly to Bose’s Guns should be packaged in a sturdy enough container to survive harsh shipping and handling conditions common with most carriers. If you ship via the US Post Office, the item can only go to our PO Box address.
If you ship via UPS or FEDEX, we will give you our address upon the agreement of the estimate.
What about insurance? All firearms being returned to customers will have a maximum of $1,000.00 insurance. Additional insurance will be at the expense of the customer.
